Timothy D. Hogan

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Hogan has been in the Investment Banking and Securities Industry since May 5th, 1985. His securities industry training started with a few large securities brokerage and investment banking firms, such as, Merrill Lynch, E. F. Hutton, and Shearson Lehman Brothers, now known as, Salomon/Smith Barney, a Member of Citigroup.

He’s held seven (7) NASD/FINRA securities licenses and registrations primarily of “Principal” status.

Mr. Hogan was also the Director of Compliance and Senior Trading Principal for North American Financial Group, Inc. a SEC Registered Investment Bank and Securities Broker. He also served as Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee for North American Capital Advisors, Inc., an SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm. There, Mr. Hogan supervised the management of eight internal departments in relation to Federal and State(s) securities laws, as well as overall firm productivity, operational systems design, and technological implementation.

Mr. Hogan has been the Founding Principal of seven entrepreneurial endeavors, including an eighteen-hole championship golf course and real estate development, a software development firm, other Internet-related businesses, as well as an investment banking company. He has held board and executive committee seats in various firms.

He is the Author of the Book: “The Secrets of Wall Street: Raising Capital for Start-Up and Early Stage Companies,” which was converted into an Educational Course within the Financial Architect System™. He also was key in assisting our other Co-founder, Russell, C. Weigel, III – Commissioner of the Office of Financial Regulation for Florida, in drafting critical elements in the Florida Senate Bill 532 “The Invest Local Act”, which became effective law on October 1, 2024.

Mr. Hogan serves as Chairman & CEO of Commonwealth Capital, LLC, as well as Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee of Commonwealth Capital Income Fund–I™. Mr. Hogan brings his investment policy formation, securities & investment banking experience, corporate organization, and marketing skills to the Company. His responsibilities include formulating, implementing, and enforcing the Company’s corporate governance and preparing the firm for an IPO.  

Mr. Hogan holds a double major (Marketing & Finance) Bachelor of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University’s Seidman College of Business and resides in Harbor Springs, MI, and in Palm Beach, FL.
